AgentReferrals SMS Program Terms
1. Program description
Agent Referrals (“AgentReferrals”) operates the AgentReferrals SMS Program. We send text messages to licensed real estate agents who opt in through the chat widget at https://join.agentreferrals.org. Informational messages include replies to your chat inquiry, early access and membership updates, account notifications, notices that a referral request is ready to review in your account, and support follow-ups. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, you will also receive occasional messages about new network features, events and membership offers. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of joining our list, membership, or any purchase.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the number that sent you messages. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. You may also opt out by replying with words such as “UNSUBSCRIBE,” “CANCEL,” “END” or “QUIT,” by telling us in chat, or by emailing us.
3. Help
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at [email protected].
4. Carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Message frequency and rates
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
6. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to participate in our SMS program.

8. Compliance
This program is operated in accordance with applicable messaging laws and carrier guidelines, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines.
Acceptance of these terms
By using the Site, joining our email list, chatting with us, or opting in to text messages, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
About the service
AgentReferrals is a professional referral network that helps licensed real estate agents refer clients to agents in other markets and find referral requests in the markets they serve. Member registration, verification and the referral marketplace are opening in stages. Joining our list or chatting with us does not create a member account, and we do not guarantee when or whether access will be offered to you.
Email list
When you join our list, we will email you about member access, verification, pricing and related AgentReferrals news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. Our email list is separate from our SMS program: joining it does not sign you up for text messages.
Eligibility
The Site and the AgentReferrals network are intended for adults and licensed real estate professionals. Network features will require professional verification of your license, jurisdiction and brokerage before you can post or respond to referral requests.
Referral fees
Any referral fee is agreed between the participating agents and their brokerages and depends on their signed agreement and the outcome of the transaction. AgentReferrals does not guarantee any referral, transaction or earnings, and nothing on the Site is legal, tax or brokerage advice. You are responsible for complying with the laws and brokerage rules that apply to you.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Site or our messaging channels. For example, do not submit false information, sign up someone else without their permission, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Site, or send unlawful, harassing or spam content.
Intellectual property
The Site, the AgentReferrals name and logo, and all content on the Site belong to Agent Referrals or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
Disclaimers
The Site and our communications are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Examples and sample referrals on the Site are illustrative only.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Agent Referrals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Site, our email list, or our SMS program. Our total liability for any claim relating to them will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Site or our messaging programs after an update means you accept the updated terms.
